HFTP and Destination AI Partner to Expand AI Education in Hospitality

HFTP and Destination AI announced a collaboration to expand practical artificial intelligence education and implementation across the hospitality industry. The partnership provides year-round educational opportunities and does not change the ownership, management, agenda, speakers, or operation of the Destination AI conference. The collaboration also supports the 3rd annual Destination AI Hospitality Summit on September 29–30, 2026, in Washington, D.C.; the 2025 event drew more than 300 attendees representing over 280 hotel companies, technology providers, and industry organizations, and the 2026 summit expects approximately 500 attendees.

This is a formal collaboration between a hospitality industry association and a conference organizer on AI education, affecting hospitality executives and practitioners and falling within industry training and workforce capability building. For AI education practitioners, the collaboration shows a vertical industry organization embedding AI education into an existing conference and year-round programming, potentially forming an industry training model for working professionals. The limitation is that the original text provides no curriculum content, attendance targets, or outcome evaluation data, so actual educational output cannot yet be verified. Hospitality executives and practitioners will gain more year-round AI education and industry insight opportunities. Industry organizations jointly promoting AI education may influence hospitality AI workforce training and adoption paths.
