Guangdong Launches Yuet Learning AI Training for Households with More Than 1,000 Courses

Guangdong's Department of Human Resources and Social Security launched the 'Yuet Learning—AI Training for Households' initiative in Guangzhou on August 15, with more than 1,000 AI courses in its first release. Running from August 2026 through January 2027, it targets 1,000 courses, 1,000 events, and one million training attendances. Dedicated sections launched concurrently on platforms in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and other cities, allowing workers to learn by computer or phone.

The initiative will improve workers' AI skills at large scale, directly support employment and entrepreneurship, and broaden AI education. Workers across the province can take free online courses to improve digital literacy and employability. Participation by local human-resources departments and companies will create a training network and advance industry-education integration.
