Henan Mobile and iFlytek Show AI Education Deployment in Luoyang

On August 6, Henan Mobile and iFlytek held an AI+education results exchange meeting in Luoyang, where over 100 primary and secondary school educators observed an integrated smart education system built on 5G, mobile cloud and IoT. Three applications were demonstrated: Smart Homework, AI English Treasure Pro and AI Blackboard. The intelligent grading device completes full-class math, science and English homework review in 5 to 10 minutes, cutting teachers' grading workload by 94%. Luoyang's primary and secondary schools now have full 5G coverage, with mobile cloud providing computing support for over a thousand smart blackboards and intelligent terminals.

This case points to network bandwidth and local computing capacity, rather than single-tool features, as the main bottleneck for AI teaching deployment. The operator's role as infrastructure service provider could change how primary and secondary schools procure and deploy AI teaching products. For education product vendors, bundled entry into schools through operators directly affects channel and cost structures; for schools, one-stop service reduces the risk of idle equipment. The figures come from on-site demonstrations and company introductions at the exchange meeting, and numbers such as the 94% grading workload reduction and over 10,000 learning reports lack independent verification, so sustained real-world effects still need observation. When schools procure AI teaching equipment, network and computing support coordinated by operators may reduce idle devices caused by insufficient bandwidth and local computing power. Education products may enter primary and secondary schools more through bundled partnerships with operators rather than separate school procurement.
