Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Launches Global Virtual School for AI Education

Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched Global Virtual School for AI education in grades 6–12. The platform includes AI teachers, supports Urdu, English, and Pashto, and offers four foreign languages: Chinese, German, Korean, and Japanese. It initially connects 175 government schools and is scheduled to expand to 500 by the end of this month or early next month.

The initiative aims to ease teacher and school shortages and expand educational opportunity in remote areas and places affected by security challenges and natural disasters, potentially changing local adoption conditions. It provides remote students with AI-assisted learning and advances deployment at scale in the public-school system.
