NIEPA Launches Master's Programs in AI in Education and School Leadership

India's National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration announced two new master's programs at its 20th-anniversary celebration: an MA in AI in Education and an MA in School Leadership. Offered by this deemed-to-be university under India's Ministry of Education, the programs aim to strengthen educational planning, governance, and institutional capacity in support of the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision.

The programs formally establish an AI education degree at the higher-education level in India and directly affect the supply of specialized talent. They may provide a model for other institutions and support development of curriculum standards. India gains more graduates with professional expertise, and other institutions may follow with similar programs.
