2026 Global Smart Education Conference Opens and Releases Global Smart Schools Initiative

The 2026 Global Smart Education Conference opened at Beijing Normal University's Changping campus on August 18 under the theme 'Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development in Education.' Co-organized by Beijing Normal University and UNESCO's Institute for Information Technologies in Education, the three-day conference released the Global Smart Schools Initiative and includes plenary sessions, parallel sessions, and high-level dialogues.
