Beijing E-Town Issues Eight AI Talent Measures Covering Entrepreneurship, Internships, and Youth Employment

On August 18, Beijing E-Town issued eight measures for AI-native talent covering student interns, young engineering talent, solo entrepreneurs, and top scientists. Industry leaders can receive up to RMB 5 million in support, while OPC entrepreneurs can receive individual awards of up to RMB 500,000. The policy also subsidizes AI interns and rewards employment, while supporting companies that work with universities and research institutions to train frontier deployment engineers.

Bringing talent development, engineering deployment, and entrepreneurship support into one system will affect the supply of AI talent and company hiring in Beijing E-Town. AI students and young engineers gain clearer internship, employment, and career support. AI entrepreneurs and companies can apply for funding, computing power, R&D space, industry settings, and other resources.
