Beststudy Education Partners with South China Normal University on AI Lab, Launches AI Whale Growth System

Beststudy Education announced at a launch event that it will jointly build an artificial intelligence laboratory with South China Normal University, creating a two-way model of university research plus frontline teaching practice. The lab will focus on four core topics: student profiling and knowledge tracing, multimodal classroom evaluation, educational psychology large models, and a student energy system for primary and secondary schools. Beststudy also officially launched a new AI brand, the AI Whale Growth System, an AI upgrade of its previous Whale system, structured in four layers. The system has for the first time moved beyond Beststudy's own schools into Qiaozhu Middle School in Puning, Guangdong.

The partnership combines university research algorithms with frontline classroom data, offering a replicable path for AI teaching tools in primary and secondary schools, and the system's first external output to a county-level middle school is a reference point for whether AI education products can scale into public school systems. However, the claims about Qiaozhu Middle School's sharp rise in exam scores and the various score-improvement figures come from a company launch-event presentation and lack independent research verification, so they should not be treated as confirmed evidence of learning outcomes. Provides a practical sample of school-enterprise cooperation and county-level output for AI education products entering public primary and secondary schools The four-layer architecture covering teachers, students, parents, and administrators may influence school procurement and product design directions
