BRAOU and Telangana Launch 15-Day AI Training for Teachers with More Than 1,500 Registrations

On August 20, BRAOU and Telangana's Department of School Education launched a 15-day online 'AI for Teachers' program, with more than 1,500 teachers registered for the first cohort. The course covers practical uses including lesson planning, content creation, and assessment, with an emphasis on ethics and human-centered practice.

The training directly strengthens teachers' AI literacy and creates a staffing foundation for classroom AI, affecting the quality of implementation in Telangana. Teachers will learn to use AI tools for lesson planning and assessment to improve efficiency. Conditions for adopting AI in education across Telangana will improve and may encourage more schools to introduce it.
