China Wins Five Gold and Three Silver Medals at Third International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence

The third International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, with 471 contestants from 108 countries and regions. All eight members of China's team won awards, earning five gold and three silver medals. China also received an Outstanding Contribution Award for successfully hosting the inaugural Asia-Pacific Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (APOAI 2026).

The results demonstrate the international competitiveness of Chinese young people in AI and the effectiveness of the NOAI selection and development system. They can increase confidence and interest in international AI competitions and encourage NOAI, Beijing Zhongguancun Academy, and other institutions to continue improving programs for top AI talent.
