CYBER.ORG Launches Industry Advisory Board to Strengthen K-12 Cybersecurity and AI Education

On August 31, CYBER.ORG announced the launch of its Industry Advisory Board with inaugural members from CompTIA, HiTech, Lion Tide Solutions, Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy, and TrendAI. The board will provide industry insights to align K-12 cybersecurity and AI education with emerging technologies and workforce needs. CYBER.ORG currently serves over 10,000 schools across all 50 states, reaching more than 48,000 educators.

This event connects industry demands directly to K-12 education, helping to address the cybersecurity talent gap and promote AI-related skills in basic education. Direct impacts include curricula potentially becoming more career-oriented and educators gaining clearer skill development directions.
