Google DeepMind APAC Research Symposium 2026 Open for Applications

Google DeepMind, in collaboration with Google Cloud, will host the APAC Research Symposium from October 28-30, 2026, for AI researchers, faculty, and students in the Asia-Pacific region. October 28 is Faculty Day (invitation only), and October 29-30 are Student Days for selected undergraduate, master's, and PhD students. The event covers four research tracks including Agentic AI and Multimodal AI.

Hosted by Google DeepMind, this symposium offers APAC faculty and students access to cutting-edge AI research and experts, potentially influencing AI talent development and academic collaboration. Faculty can learn about emerging research directions; students can gain learning resources and mentorship. However, participation is limited: Faculty Day is by invitation only, and Student Days require selection. Provides a platform for AI faculty in APAC to discuss frontier research and infrastructure. Offers selected students opportunities to interact with global experts and showcase research, potentially boosting their academic and career prospects.
