Hanoi to Deploy AI Education Content for Grades 1-12 Starting 2026-2027 School Year

Under Plan No. 4758 of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, from the 2026-2027 school year, 100% of educational institutions in the city will deploy AI education content for students in grades 1 to 12, with 12 periods per class per school year of core AI content. Some students said they want hands-on practice, AI ethics and information verification; parents want content suited to each age group, with more practice and guidance on proper use.

This is a formal plan by a local education authority to bring AI content into all basic education grade levels, directly changing curriculum design, period allocation and teacher preparation in Hanoi schools, and affecting AI education products and teaching materials for the Vietnamese market.
