National AI Application Pilot Base Launches in Heilongjiang with Focus on Crop Cultivation

A Heilongjiang summit on high-quality industry development enabled by 'AI+' and the launch ceremony for the National AI Application Pilot Base for crop cultivation were recently held in Harbin. Chen Shaobo, a member of the provincial Party committee and executive vice governor, attended and unveiled the base. Built by China Mobile Heilongjiang, it serves producers, agricultural service companies, research organizations, and regulators nationwide, with a validation path covering 10,000 mu in its pilot zone, one million mu in its adoption zone, and more than 100 million mu in its wider reach.

The national application-innovation base will advance large-scale validation of AI in crop cultivation and provide education products with real agricultural use cases and signals about talent demand. These settings can support industry-education integration, while growing agricultural AI demand may affect relevant programs and training directions.
