2026 Hengqin AI Competition and Macau International Invitational Opens with New Embodied AI and AI Agent Events

On August 23, the 2026 Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone AI Competition and Macau International Invitational opened at Macau Pui Ching Middle School, with nearly 600 contestants from 9 countries and regions, including nearly 200 from Macau. The event added embodied AI and AI Agent application innovation competitions and upgraded the drone track to a low-altitude intelligent network collaborative challenge.

The event provides a platform for youth to compete in AI and robotics, and the new events reflect the trend of AI education extending to embodied intelligence and agent applications, helping cultivate AI logic architecture thinking. The event is guided and hosted by multiple education departments, reflecting regional collaboration to promote international AI education, offering direct reference value for schools, teachers, and students.
