Hunan Issues Notice on AI Special Training Action, Aiming to Involve 300,000 Participants in AI Learning Within 3 Years

The Human Resources and Social Security Department of Hunan Province has issued a notice on the "Skills Revitalize Sanxiang, One Person One Skill — AI Special Training Action," targeting zero-foundation enthusiasts, AI industry practitioners, industrial workers, entrepreneurial groups and professional technicians. The notice calls for no fewer than 100 quality AI courses, no fewer than 1,000 public AI training, outreach and practical activities, subsidized vocational skills training for 100,000 person-times, and aims to involve 300,000 person-times in AI skills learning within three years. An AI general learning zone is opened on the "Xiangpei Zhitongche" platform, offering online courses such as AI literacy, AIGC applications, smart office and AI applications in intelligent manufacturing.

This is a provincial government action using a formal document to scale AI skills training, directly changing the supply channels and organization of AI talent training in Hunan and offering AI education products and course providers a route to connect with a public training platform and key industry-chain job demand. Its impact depends on actual course launches, subsidized training person-times and employment matching; the 300,000 person-times figure is an aim, not a completed result.
