iFlytek Signs University-Enterprise Cooperation Memorandum with CUEB School of Statistics and Data Science
Recently, the School of Statistics and Data Science at Capital University of Economics and Business signed a university-enterprise cooperation memorandum with iFlytek. The two sides will deepen cooperation in smart course co-development, practical talent cultivation, and open ecosystem co-creation. This year, iFlytek created an "AI-empowered statistics professional training" program for multiple faculty members and students, focusing on the application of AI agents in statistics, and it has been incorporated into the project's practical teaching system. In 2024, CUEB became one of the first 24 council member units of the Spark University Alliance.
This event embeds AI agent applications into statistics professional practical teaching and writes them into a university-enterprise cooperation memorandum, providing a verifiable course-based path for statistics talent cultivation in universities. For universities, such cooperation can change how AI education products are procured and co-developed; for students, AI tools move from extracurricular topics into the course credit system. The original text does not disclose training hours, number of students covered, or assessment methods, and actual teaching outcomes still require subsequent public information for verification. Statistics and data science programs in universities may add AI agent practical training courses, changing practical teaching and credit arrangements. The cooperation model between AI education product vendors and universities may shift from one-off training to course co-development and ecosystem co-creation.
