iFlytek Xingguang 2.0 Adds Natural-Language H5 Lesson App Creation and Learning Data Collection

iFlytek's teacher AI assistant Xingguang was upgraded to version 2.0 in September 2026, about two months after the previous release. The update improves H5 teaching apps, learning data collection, home-school collaboration and ecosystem connections. Teachers can generate interactive content in natural language and turn generated, self-made or saved H5 resources into teaching apps linked to class students, with data collection archiving answers and task completion. A teacher workspace and a parent mini-program connect task organization, teacher confirmation, distribution, parent submission and progress viewing.

The upgrade shifts competition among teacher AI products from generating lesson plans and slides toward embedding in workflows: whether an app leaves usable learning information and whether that information helps the next lesson and home-school communication. For schools, scaling AI does not require every teacher to use the same app, but shared foundations such as identity, class, task and records need to be stable; permissions and student data use will determine whether the product enters daily teaching. The source provides no independent research on learning outcomes or score gains, so the value still needs verification in practice. Teachers can turn specific instructional judgments into operable H5 apps in natural language and collect answers and completion data as a basis for adjusting teaching. Home-school communication extends from generating a single message to task distribution, submission and targeted reminders, reducing repeated confirmation.
