Shanghai Jing'an District Holds 'AI+' Industry Development Training for Officials

In September 2026, the Organization Department and the Science and Technology Economic Committee of Jing'an District, Shanghai, jointly held a special training program on 'AI+'-driven high-quality industrial development, with more than 80 participants from district departments, subdistricts and district-owned enterprises. The curriculum covered policy interpretation, industry trends, case analysis, technical principles and hands-on guidance, and included on-site teaching at SenseTime and Hygon. The district said it will next focus on fashion consumption, professional services and future audiovisual as three key application areas.

This is a local government AI industry training program for officials, part of the basic public governance and industrial promotion work for regional AI development. It does not directly change classroom teaching or student learning, but it can affect the conditions under which education and other public services in the district procure and deploy AI products through the scenario operation system, pilot validation and scaled rollout.
