KAIST to Overhaul All Courses for AI Era Starting Next March

KAIST President Bae Choong-sik announced on August 24 that all undergraduate and graduate courses will be completely redesigned for the AI era starting March 2026. Courses will be categorized by AI usage level: AI-free education in humanities and basic sciences, AI-assisted problem-solving in most classes, and student-led AI development. All 750 professors will become concurrent faculty of the AI college.
