Malaysian education-technology platform Kelas Sekejap announced a full transformation on August 19, 2026, expanding from conversational English learning into a comprehensive AI learning ecosystem for school, work, educational content, and brand learning. Since its January 26, 2026 launch, it has accumulated more than 15,000 registered learners and over 6,000 AI-tutor conversation exercises, while short videos on its social channels average more than 150,000 views. Former CIMB Group chairman Nazir Razak led the seed round; pre-seed investors included Mark Koh, Carey Ng, Leong Yew Yan, and Lui Wai Lap.

The transformation and financing show a local Malaysian AI education platform expanding from a single function into a broader ecosystem with support from prominent business and political figures, potentially affecting local competition. Students and working professionals gain a multi-setting AI learning platform that may reduce anxiety around language learning.
