National Elderly Legal Education Tour Launches, Focusing on Helping Seniors Spot AI Face-Swap Scams

On September 15, the "National Elderly Legal Education Tour" launched in Beijing, with its first stop ceremony held in the Longfusi neighborhood of Dongcheng District. Guided by the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice, and hosted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the National Aging Office and the China Aging Association, the campaign starts in Beijing and will roll out themed activities in 13 provinces. It focuses on AI face-swapping and voice-changing scams and private-domain livestream fraud, promoting fraud detection and prevention methods, and will use AI, short videos and livestreaming to open online legal education classes.
