Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Launches Global Virtual School for AI Education

Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government formally launched Global Virtual School on August 15, the country's first such public-sector initiative, to provide virtual AI education. The first phase connects 175 schools, with expansion to 500 planned by the end of the month or early next month. For grades 6–12, it offers AI teachers, virtual laboratories, and multilingual courses.

The initiative brings AI education into the public system and may improve access to high-quality education in remote areas while easing teacher and school shortages. It offers personalized AI-driven learning and multilingual courses to grades 6–12. Expansion to 500 schools will significantly increase access in remote areas.
