Presence Acquires Education Modified, Integrating Special-Education Plans and Service Data

On May 19, Presence announced the acquisition of special-education technology company Education Modified. The transaction value was not disclosed.

Education Modified manages IEPs, interventions, and support plans. Within Presence, it will connect with teletherapy, assessment, and Kanga platform data.

Key areas to watch include system integration, school migration, protection of sensitive special-education data, human review of automatically generated plans, and the time teachers actually save.
