University of Rhode Island Receives $4.8 Million in Grants for Cybersecurity Education

The University of Rhode Island has received two National Science Foundation grants totaling $4.8 million to support cybersecurity education.

The funding will help provide students with access to advanced cybersecurity and artificial intelligence education, which is critical for the development of the cybersecurity industry. The funding will provide scholarships, stipends, internships and mentoring for students enrolled in cybersecurity graduate programs at URI. The new program will help provide students access to one of the nation’s most advanced cybersecurity-artificial intelligence programs.
