Tencent Cloud and UTM Sign Three-Year MoU, Two Teams Advance to Shenzhen Global Finals

Tencent Cloud and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding on 18 August 2026 covering AI education, cloud skills and industry-led problem solving. The two sides held a five-week hackathon from 10 July to 13 August in which students built solutions for challenges set by AmBank, JCorp, Silverlake and Arkie AI, with more than 300 engagements across recruitment, training and mentoring.
