UNESCO and UNITAR Launch AI and Human Rights Online Course

On 3 September 2021, UNESCO and UNITAR jointly launched a short online learning course on AI and Human Rights for youths aged 16 to 24. The course breaks down complex AI concepts into straightforward activities built around daily technology interactions, focusing on how freedom of expression, the right to privacy and the right to equality are impacted by AI. The course is open access and was planned to be available in Russian, Spanish and French in 2021.
