Xiamen Launches AI Public Service Platform with 2,100+ Resources

On July 23, Xiamen's AI public service platform went live, aggregating over 2,100 AI resources including models, computing power, datasets, and agents. By end of 2025, Xiamen had 6 nationally registered models, ranking first in the province, and built 45 provincial-level typical application scenarios.

As a key city for provincial AI industrial parks, Xiamen's platform will affect the adoption environment for AI education products. The aggregated resources can reduce development costs for educational institutions, and Xiamen University of Technology has released an education-specific model 'Wenkui', indicating accelerated education AI applications. Educational institutions can leverage platform resources to lower AI development barriers and accelerate vertical model deployment. The platform drives demand for AI talent, prompting universities to adjust related programs and training.
