UAE Student Adam Ahmed, 13, Builds ScoolBot and Open-Sources Multi-Agent Tool Bothread

The Times of India reported on August 24 that Adam Ahmed, a 13-year-old grade 10 student in Sharjah, developed the AI education platform ScoolBot. The platform offers gamified quizzes, AI tutoring, classroom management, progress tracking, and parent participation and is described by the project as aligned with UAE Ministry of Education standards. The report lists a top-20 finish in the DDS challenge for an earlier project, fourth place for ScoolBot's first version, and two competition gold awards. In June 2026, Adam also released Bothread, an open-source multi-agent collaboration tool; the report said the achievements and performance were not independently verified.

The case shows how a secondary-school student iterated an education product using competition results and school feedback, then identified a multi-agent coordination problem during development. Platform features, awards, and developer adoption largely come from project materials, so this is best treated as an entrepreneurship and learning case rather than evidence of effective school deployment. Students, teachers, and parents are included in one platform for tutoring, classroom management, and progress tracking. Bothread is free and open source, while its actual developer adoption still requires external confirmation.
