Beijing Schools Upgrade AI Literacy Courses With Agents and Embodied AI Labs

In the new semester of 2026, several primary and secondary schools in Beijing upgraded their AI literacy courses. Zhongguancun No.3 Primary School launched version 2.0 with three tiers: general experience, understanding and inquiry, and applied innovation. Beijing No.2 Middle School Economic Development Zone School opened an Unitree embodied AI lab equipped with a robot, dexterous hands and real-time motion capture devices. Education agents including "Jing Xiaoxue," "Zhi Xiaoyan" and "Rose Xiaoyu" in Miyun District will pilot in schools. Guangqumen Middle School is co-building AI courses with Huawei's AI research platform, and Miyun No.2 Middle School built 13 dedicated maker classrooms.

This upgrade pushes AI literacy courses from scattered experiences toward tiered curricula, corporate co-building and routine agent use, directly changing school procurement and course design conditions and affecting teacher training and student AI literacy pathways.
