Forestsoft and Hanbitn Sign Partnership to Develop South Korea's AI Education Ecosystem

South Korea's Forestsoft and Hanbitn, an AI education company under Hanbit Media Group, announced on Thursday that they signed a business partnership to help develop South Korea's AI education ecosystem. Forestsoft will produce AI lectures and support instructors, while Hanbitn will oversee overall education business operations, including commercialisation, distribution and marketing of education content. The two plan cooperation in joint branding and marketing, AI lecture production and instructor support, commercialisation and distribution of education content, mutual use of platforms, offline education spaces and AI technology-based solution infrastructure, joint planning of new AI education content, and joint promotion of education projects including government-supported programmes and consortium formation.

The partnership directly connects an AI technology company with an education content company across course production, instructor support, commercialisation, distribution and consortium participation in government-supported programmes, which could change how AI education content is supplied and how projects are joined in South Korea. For education product practitioners, the planned sharing of platforms, offline spaces and AI technology-based solution infrastructure is a key point for judging whether the cooperation can produce replicable content and scaled delivery. It is currently only a signed agreement, with no specific courses, projects or quantitative targets disclosed. South Korea's AI education content supply may gain a channel jointly operated by a technology company and a content company, affecting competition in local course and training markets. The two plan to jointly join government-supported programmes and form consortia, which could change how public AI education projects are joined and how resources are allocated in South Korea.
