Shenzhen Polytechnic University Integrates AI into Talent Training, Plans Intelligent Agent Major and Builds 384 Virtual Simulation Training Scenarios

Shenzhen Polytechnic University is advancing its "Ten AI Empowerment Actions" to integrate AI across its talent training chain. Its School of Electronics and Information Engineering uses an industry big-data monitoring platform to adjust majors dynamically and plans to launch emerging majors such as intelligent agent engineering. The university has built an AI vocational education model and the "Shenzhen Vocational i" learning platform, created 384 virtual simulation training scenarios with enterprises, and established 18 overseas Shenzhen Digital Workshops.

This is a verifiable case of a Chinese vocational university systematically embedding AI into major planning, teaching evaluation and practical training, and its dynamic major adjustment mechanism and scale of virtual simulation training offer a reference for other institutions. For AI education product providers, the university's self-built AI vocational education model and learning platform indicate platform-level procurement and co-development demand on the institutional side; for talent training, the direction of new majors such as intelligent agent engineering reflects changing job demand. The original text provides no quantitative results on learning outcomes or employment quality, so related effects still require independent evaluation. Vocational institutions may reference its industry big-data monitoring platform and dynamic major adjustment mechanism, changing the pace of setting up AI-related majors. Institutions building their own AI vocational education models and virtual simulation training scenarios offer co-development or procurement paths for AI education products entering the vocational market.
