TAL's "One AI Lesson" Expanded into 10 Courses, Reaching 56 Primary and Secondary Schools

TAL has upgraded last year's single-session AI experience class into a 10-lesson AI introductory series covering text-to-text, text-to-image, text-to-video, AI plus hardware, 3D modeling and AI critical thinking. In 2026 the program has recruited volunteer teaching teams from more than 50 universities and reached 56 primary and secondary schools nationwide for offline teaching, with all 10 lessons also available free on Xuexi Qiangguo. Last year the course reached rural primary school classrooms in more than 120 schools through 29 university volunteer teaching teams.

This is a case of a company course product combined with a university volunteer teaching network and connected to a public learning platform, showing that AI introductory courses are moving from one-off experiences toward structured provision. For schools it offers an external course resource that can be adopted directly; for AI education product teams its content framework and channel mix can serve as a reference. The original text states only lesson counts, the number of schools covered and the channels, and provides no independent evaluation of learning outcomes or teaching quality. Primary and secondary schools can adopt a structured AI introductory course without developing content themselves, lowering the content preparation cost of offering such classes. With the course on Xuexi Qiangguo's education channel, parents and students can access the same 10 lessons free outside school.
