The 26-week programme covers practical, no-code capabilities in Generative AI and Agentic AI, spanning business strategy, AI-powered decision-making, automation and responsible AI. EIMT said learners can add the specialised AI qualification without paying a separate programme fee.

An International Labour Organization report says global youth unemployment among 15-to-24-year-olds rose to 12.4% in 2025 from 12.3% in 2023, equivalent to about 67 million people. The share of young people not in employment, education or training (NEET) edged up to 20%, more than 257 million people. The ILO estimates 6.1% of jobs held by people aged 15 to 29 are in occupations most exposed to AI-related changes; if 10% of those jobs disappeared, about 5.6 million young workers could face unemployment, career changes or exit the labour force.
Education consulting nonprofit Instruction Partners released a large-scale evaluation of AI-powered learning tools, including 16 deep dives into individual products, covering 20 tools and 16 school systems, with interviews of teachers, students, district and building leaders, and product developers. The analysis found the biggest risks from general-purpose chatbots, which students may use to avoid effortful thinking, while purpose-built instructional tools showed more promise but none was ready to do the pedagogical job independently.
To implement the Fujian 'AI Plus Manufacturing' Action Plan (2026-2028), the first session of the AI Plus Manufacturing skills training series, hosted by the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, opened in Fuzhou on September 11. About 100 representatives from manufacturing enterprises, AI service providers and industry associations attended on site, while nearly 1,200 joined online via livestream. Experts from CAICT, China Telecom and Huawei were invited to teach policy interpretation, large model and agent technology trends, and practices such as industrial agents and visual quality inspection. Ten sessions are planned across the province from September to December.

SK AX announced on September 14 that its self-developed generative AI education and certification programs, AI Literacy and AI Bootcamp, were recognized as Level 2 and Level 1 government-recognized corporate qualifications, respectively, and it received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award. The award ceremony took place on September 11 at the Human Resource Development Conference at COEX Magok in Seoul. SK AX said this is South Korea's first case of a company's AI competency certification system receiving government recognition, and it plans to expand the system to general companies and educational institutions.
TAL has upgraded last year's single-session AI experience class into a 10-lesson AI introductory series covering text-to-text, text-to-image, text-to-video, AI plus hardware, 3D modeling and AI critical thinking. In 2026 the program has recruited volunteer teaching teams from more than 50 universities and reached 56 primary and secondary schools nationwide for offline teaching, with all 10 lessons also available free on Xuexi Qiangguo. Last year the course reached rural primary school classrooms in more than 120 schools through 29 university volunteer teaching teams.
LG Uplus said on Sept. 14 that it will hold the "I-Dream Challenge LG Uplus AI Plus Camp" with South Korea's Ministry of National Defense at Konjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi province. A total of 303 people will take part, including 110 students in grades 4 to 6 and 193 guardians, under the theme "Mission: Protect Mom and Dad, Little AI Guardians." Students will attend a generative AI magic performance, join AI experience programs and take part in an AI hackathon, building a "guardian robot" with sensors and coding, creating presentation materials with AI and presenting their results with mentoring support.
Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, speaking at the close of the two-day AI Manthan 2.0 at CSJMU in Kanpur, asked state universities to prepare time-bound AI roadmaps covering education, research, administration, healthcare, agriculture and student skills. She said AI should be integrated across subjects rather than taught only as a standalone course, and stressed teacher AI-readiness and indigenous AI built on Indian data. The event announced an AI Policy Advisory Group and an AI Implementation Group of vice chancellors, with the advisory group chaired by Prof PP Chakrabarti of IIT Kharagpur.
