Vietnam Adds 12 Hours of AI Education per Year to School Curriculum

Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training has released a framework adding AI education to primary and secondary school curricula, with 12 class periods per class each year. Covering general and career-oriented education, it is organized into four areas: human-centered thinking, AI ethics, AI technology and applications, and AI system design. Content becomes progressively more advanced from primary through high school, with an emphasis on practical and project-based learning.
