Beijing's Shunyi District Releases a Three-Year AI Education Plan Aiming for Full General-Education Coverage in Primary and Secondary Schools

Information published by the Beijing municipal government on April 7 shows that Shunyi District released the Three-Year Action Plan for Improving AI Literacy in Primary and Secondary Schools (2026–2028) and the Implementation Plan for Advancing AI Education in Primary and Secondary Schools (2026–2028).

The plans cover all primary and secondary schools in the district, aim for full coverage of general AI education, and place distinctive courses, practical activities, teacher capability, evaluation, and safety governance in one three-year pathway.

The public information does not yet disclose instructional time by grade or a specific school list. Follow-up should verify timetables, teacher-training numbers, resource platforms, school coverage, and how safety and controllability requirements enter product selection and classroom use.
