MagicSchool AI founder Adeel Khan said in an interview that the platform works with major U.S. districts including Denver Public Schools and Broward and Hillsborough county schools. The company says it partners with schools attended by one-fifth of U.S. students and has about eight million registered educators worldwide. It has raised nearly $63 million in total, with its latest round a $2.4 million seed led by Range Ventures, and revenue tripled year over year last year.
OpenAI announced partnerships with six public and private higher-education institutions in India on February 18, 2026, including IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad, with a goal of reaching more than 100,000 students, faculty, and staff over the following year. The collaboration includes campus-wide access to ChatGPT Edu tools, faculty training, and frameworks for responsible use, with plans to work with education-technology platforms including Physics Wallah on AI courses.
On November 20, 2024, OpenAI released a free online course intended to help K–12 teachers bring ChatGPT into classrooms. Developed with Common Sense Media, the one-hour course has nine modules and has been deployed in dozens of schools, including Arizona's Agua Fria district, California's San Bernardino district, and Challenger Schools. OpenAI's internal research says 98% of participants reported that the course provided a new idea or strategy they could apply at work.
