On August 23, the Texas AI Learning Centre opened at Houston's Tagore Centre through a partnership with the IIT Kharagpur Outreach Network, with a focus on AI education, skills, and industry solutions. It launched with a two-day AI certificate boot camp coordinated by a Texas A&M University professor. IIT Kharagpur plans to provide later professional-development courses and explore expanding the centre into a Pan-IIT platform for alumni and industry participants.
