Pakistan's Higher Education Commission (HEC) will train faculty members from about 100 universities in AI skills through a four-day program starting August 27. It covers integrating AI into curriculum design, teaching, learning, assessment, research, and academic administration. In August 2026, Warren County Public Schools opened the IMPACT Center for Leadership and Innovation, introducing Kentucky's first dedicated AI career pathway and the only school in the U.S. offering IBM certificates in AI, cybersecurity, and data analytics. Currently, 50 students are enrolled, with courses for eighth graders and above covering data visualization and coding. The pilot, in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Education, may become a statewide model and expand into an optional minor.
